Our Spanish purple garlic paste is made from 100% purple garlic. Whilst you would be forgiven for thinking that the cloves of this ingredient should be purple, its name actually comes from the purple hue that is found on its papery skin. Milder than white garlic, this is perfect for adding to dishes where you want garlic to be a great supporting role, but not the star of the show.
One teaspoon of paste equates to three cloves of garlic, with the whole 1kg tub containing 2kg of garlic bulbs.
