Produced in the Tuscan countryside Greppi di Silli uses the unique environment and traditional farming methods together with specially designed packaging, to produce exceptional honey that reaches the customer as fresh and delicious as the day it was harvested. Honeydew honey is a liquid honey with a very dark amber colour that can be almost black. This honey has a fruity aroma with hints of caramel, malt and jam that are reflected in a strong malt-caramel flavour that is less sweet than other varieties in the range. Best for use in recipes designed to showcase its unique flavour such as custards, ice-creams or other sweets.
