These premium quality Gherkins are grown and processed by Alcaparras Luxeapers, a family run firm based on the edge of the Sierra Nevada National Park in the Seville region of Spain. The gherkins are cultivated and harvested according to traditional methods and processed in the high tech facilities for consistency and high quality standards. The freshly picked gherkins are washed and cured in brine before being drained and bottled in a solution flavoured with vinegar and salt. Gherkins are a delicious snack or garnish for cold meats, salads, cheeses or smoked fish, they are also used in many classic recipes including Tartar Sauce.
