Olivado
Olivado is a pioneering producer of avocado oil based in New Zealand.
Olivado began life in 1999 when the team secured a New Zealand Horticultural grant that enabled them to pioneer and perfect the process of extracting oil from the avocado. The process they developed is unique to this company and is only used in their factory meaning no other company can produce avocado oil of the same quality.
Olivado has two production bases one in Kerikeri near the top of New Zealand's North Island, and the other in Nairobi in Kenya. The Nairobi plant gives Olivado unrivalled access to Fair Trade and certified organic avocados directly from independent farms in the region. The New Zealand plant is within a 30 acre olive grove that provides a very traceable source of premium olives and produces high quality cold pressed avocado oils. Endorsed by celebrity chefs including Jamie Oliver and Peter Gordon Olivado avocado oil is fast building a reputation as a premium culinary oil. In addition to Extra Virgin Avocado Oil, Olivado has created a range of infused oils, an uniquely different Macadamia nut oil, and the exclusive 'Omega Plus' oil that blends these oils for a balanced Omega oil intake to boost health and wellbeing in one easy step when substituted for other oils in your daily diet.
