Cellers Avgvstvs is a boutique producer of wines and wine vinegars based in Tarragona in Spain. The land that forms the site of the vineyard is in the rural village of St Vincenc de Calders and was acquired in the early 1980s. The company founders spent a decade investing in infrastructure, agriculture and technology to the transform the property into the cultivated vineyards, state-of-the art wine cellars and production facilities you see there today. The company philosophy is to maintain the passionate, hands on approach and integrity of a small producer to offer a high quality, distinctively personal range of wines and wine vinegars. Control over every stage of production from growing and harvesting the grapes to bottling the finished wines and vinegars helps to achieve that goal.

The microclimate of the vineyard, situated just 3km from the Mediterranean sea, supports the successful growth and harvesting of a range of grape varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. As well as a premium range of wines, this crop enables production of the Forvum bittersweet vinegars that offer the characteristic flavours of a single grape variety in a deeply flavoured, tangy vinegar. These exciting vinegars add an interesting twist to many dishes, elevating an ordinary recipe to something truly special, a welcome addition to any kitchen.
