Champiland exports premium quality fresh, frozen and dried mushrooms worldwide.

Champiland is based in Herm, in the Landes forest in Aquitaine, France. It is part of the co-operative group France Champignon which is the second largest mushroom supplier in the world.

The Champiland brand represents the woodland and exotic mushrooms cultivated and processed at the Herm subsidiary and is synonomous with premium quality in the industry. Largely focused on supplying the catering trade, Champiland has been producing and marketing mushrooms year round since 1986. An unrivalled selection of top quality mushrooms is produced, including oyster mushrooms, black fungus and the world renowned Porcini or Cep so revered in many European cuisines.

In recent years significant investments have been made to modernise infrastructure and develop the state-of-the-art laboratory on the Herm site. Here scientists work on new technologies in a major innovation programme designed to meet and exceed customer expectations, and stay well ahead of competitors, now and in the future. The aim is to innovate and improve at every stage of production from the creation of spawn to the delivery of the final product received and enjoyed by the consumer.

Champiland develop and market three main product types each requiring different technological approaches – fresh mushrooms, frozen mushrooms and dehydrated mushrooms. These are supplied and distributed to customers throughout the world.
