Belberry

Belberry produces delicious conserves and condiments using traditional recipes in Belgium.

Belberry was founded in 1956 from a small grocery shop in the west Flemish city of Kotrijk. The owner, Andre Vandererfven, began producing preserves based on traditional recipes to meet local demand. In 1990 his son took over the family firm with the aim of building this thriving home based business into one that could operate on a larger scale, thus offering more people the chance to buy and enjoy the unique range of conserves and marmalades Belberry had become famous for locally. Thierry Vandererfven has since successfully expanded production, without changing the authentic techniques that give Belberry jams their distinctive quality. This has meant Belberry are able to sell their range to a wider audience and it now exports delicious preserves all over Europe.

The fruit used to create Belberry products is sourced worldwide for the finest flavours. Production is simple using few added ingredients and no colourings or preservatives. Jams are made by hand and boiled in an open copper kettle according to traditional recipes a century old. Belberry produce an amazing range of flavours from traditional marmalades and usual fruit conserves to more exotic versions such as rhubarb, kiwi and fig for a truly innovative selection. They are also expanding into fruit syrups, fruit sauces, fruit vinegars and chocolate and tea jelly products, all made to a luxuriously high standard using premium products and traditional methods.

Belberry products make a luxurious addition to any table and add distinction and quality to the dining experience providing old-fashioned luxury for a modern audience.
